Low Country Hunting Lodge is South Carolina's leading wild hog and whitetail deer hunting outfitter. We provide 100% Fair Chase Hunts with High Opportunity Rates! We are located in Garnett, South Carolina, just 4 miles from the Savannah River and in the heart of the best South Carolina hunting. We specialize in offering individuals or small groups a unique opportunity to hunt wild hogs and whitetail deer in a beautiful historical setting, with everything provided including amazing home-cooked meals and comfortable lodging.
LCHL hunts approximately 1500 acres of prime low country deer and hog habitat located in Hampton County near the Savannah River. This land is covered with roomy, safe single person and two-person elevated box blinds along with 17 foot tower and ladder stands that are easy to get in to and provide a great view of our hardwood bottoms, pine plantations, food plots and giant cotton fields that have all been baited with the deer and hog’s favorite food of corn. This attractant is placed 25 to 150 yards from the stands to draw the animals in and provide a good, high-percentage shot for both our rifle hunters and bow hunters.
Wild hog hunting has become very popular as out of state hunters have learned what we in the low country have known for a while – that wild pigs are smart, tough animals that are extremely fun and exciting to hunt; they also taste great! So if you are ready for the challenge of harvesting a big boar to put on the wall or the grill, come join us for some of the best hog hunting in the South Carolina low country.
And to get that big wild boar, the best way to do it is our afternoon/night hog hunt which is available all year long. With the help of our many trail cameras, we will determine when the pigs are moving the best and then arrange to have you in the stand during those times. We usually start the hunt approximately 2 hours before dark to take advantage of any afternoon daylight movement, then leave you in the stand for another 4 hours after dark to capitalize on the nocturnal tendencies of wild pigs to provide our hunters with the best opportunities to shoot a monster.
On all rifle hunts, you will use one of our Savage .308 bolt action rifles equipped with the latest ATN X-Sight II or ATN X-Sight 4k Pro Day/Night scope. This scope will work in daylight hours, then allow the hunter to switch right over to night vision to see and shoot long after dark. This amazing scope also records your shot so that you can not only relive your hunt afterwards but also allow us to review the quality of your shot to verify if you hit or missed your hogs. During this hunt, you may harvest 1 to 2 hogs per night depending on the Tier Hunt you chose. We do not have any trophy fees but ask that our hunters make clean, ethical shots on all game to ensure a quick kill. This not only guarantees the meat from that animal will be good for eating, it will assist us in finding that hog quickly and getting out of the area so that we don’t contaminate it for the next hunt.

South Carolina low country is well known for having some of the best whitetail deer hunting in the country due to our high game population as well as our 4.5 month long season which allows lots of time in the woods. So whether you are looking to shoot a velvet buck in August, a big buck in rut or a late season doe, come join us to enjoy our amazing hunting.
Our hunts start just before daylight, when you will be placed in a stand overlooking key travel corridors and feeding areas, and last until mid-morning. You will then be picked up and taken to the lodge for a delicious home cooked lunch; afterwards, you are then free to enjoy the afternoon until it is time to head back out about 4 to 4.5 hours before sunset, then hunt until 30 minutes after official sunset. We will then pick you up and return you to the lodge for another awesome meal while we take care of any animals you harvest. You may harvest one buck and one doe per day during your hunt. Please note that wild hogs are also allowed to be taken during all deer hunts. You may also shoot 1 or 2 wild pigs a day depending on the tier hunt you chose.

We are now offering a new hunt called the “THE RESERVE”.
In the past, if a group of hunters wanted to be the only ones at LCHL during a hunt, we would require groups to have at least 7 or 8 hunters in their group. Unfortunately, most groups have the same problem of finding enough friends or family who could all go on a hunt at the same time. We’ve also had a lot of the smaller groups inquire about booking the whole lodge when they only have 3 or 4 hunters. So, after thinking about it for a while we decided to give each group the option of reserving LCHL for just their hunt whether they have 2 hunters in their group or 7 hunters in their group.
