TEXAS HOG HUNTING REAL OUTFITTERS
We focus on more than trophy deer hunting; it is the whole experience. We care about far more than antlers and score, it is about sharing time with friends and family. From a father-son hunting weekend, a weekend getaway with old buddies, a family-friendly hunt, to teaching a youngster how to hunt, to corporate hunting trips in Central Texas, the time you spend with Real Outfitters makes memories.
We have the ability to accommodate large groups, corporate hunts, family reunions, bachelor parties, and any other events that require as many as 30 beds.

Our Fort McKavett hunting ranch opened in 2014. Nestled on 9000 acres of Menard County beauty, our Fort McKavett ranch represents some of the best deer hunting in Central Texas. The terrain is typical of Texas Hill Country hunting, with rolling hills covered in oak trees. Our new cabins and renovated farmhouses on the ranch provide an authentic Texas hunting experience with amenities like satellite TV in common areas, cabins sleeping as many as six that are well maintained by camp staff, and chef-prepared meals that go well beyond typical deer camp fare. All of this comes as part of most of our affordable hunting packages. You will find that every Real Outfitters team member understands the importance of excellent service and will do whatever it takes to ensure that your trip is exceptional.

Tips and gratuities are always an uncomfortable topic for many clients especially those on a first time hunting trip. As an outfitter: it is equally uncomfortable providing advice regarding this subject. Below is merely a point of reference and not what you SHOULD tip. Ultimately the decision is yours.
Tipping is a good thing; it is a straightforward way to encourage great service. A tip is a reflection of the quality of service that you have received during your hunt.
The reason is simple, guides, helpers and camp staff derive much of their income from the tips they receive which creates the incentive for them to perform at their highest level.
Below is a guide not an absolute. By all means, if a guide or staff member exceeds your expectations, tip them more. If the level of service doesn’t meet your expectation, don’t tip at all and PLEASE inform RO management staff.
